Neat thing to try for the right price
By jeff ludwig
I have an iPhone 5s and bought the SainSonic VR headset. The experience wasn't as great as I had hoped. It's more of a neat thing to try than an actual experience. The 5s screen is too small to get a good field of view. I can see the camera and the home button when I wear the headset. I've used a friend's 6s plus and the experience was better. It still isn't an oculus replacement or even a decent substitute. I used the kino console pro app from the App Store to play over games through this. The experience was buggy, laggy, and a bit frustrating most of the time. As I said the view from my phone is low resolution and small. I would compare it to a 4:3 tv. Still the product did exactly as advertised. I can't complain about the product. I had to give the product 4 stars because it does what it advertises. I didn't give it a 5 star because it didn't do anything to beat expectations. If you want to try some neat demos then buy it if the price is right. I paid $18 with free shipping. I'd say I'm happy with what o got for the price.
